I m not trying to stir up argument here. I m trying to understand some issues. If a church is moving in the power of the gift of the spirit then why do we see:
a. healing does not happen to some sick people. some die painful deaths from cancer like non-christians. but of course healing happens too.
b. prohecy. why sometimes they fail. They are shown to be untrue when the event has come to pass. But yes some are accurate to a precision.
c. tongues. why sometimes there are more than one interpretation of a tongue ? And contradicting each other.
d. what are the immediate checks and balances to determine if it is from Holy Spirit ?
I m not trying to start a war here. I hope others PLEASE don't draw your guns. Just trying to understand these issues and grateful for your feeback.
