Dear RTC
Your responses seem to convey the impression that because you have experienced or seen the abuses and carnal practices of churches that did not stick to biblical patterns, you dismiss the biblical teachings altogether. For example, you stated "Yet if asked to picture the church, the pastor ranks top on the org chart. In reality the pastor becomes the functional head whereas Christ becomes the nominal head (in name and theology only). And when people keep saying “ask the pastor”, “get pastor approval”, “the pastor decide”, that is enough to tell you who they think is in charge." This is in reality putting our experiences above scripture, using them to judge scripture. Name us one command or injuction of God that sinful men have not abused. Perhaps when you are ready, you should seek a biblically-based church. Cordial regards
