Letter of Paul to Philemon is addressing the personal issue of Philemon's runaway slave Onesimus.

Philemon 1 & 3, Paul is writing his greetings. He greets Philemon, few others and the church in Philemon's house. When you write a letter to someone, can't you extend greetings to those in those close to him including the church in his house too?

The remainder of the letter Paul is talking to Philemon about Onesismus, Philemon's runaway slave. Please read verses 7 & 20 carefully to find out who is Paul addressing the details of the letter to. It's a singular "brother", brother! It is not a letter to the church per say.

If you can't read the shortest letter of Paul's correctly how do we expect you to read his other epistles to judge what Paul is teaching about Church in the first place?

This book you must read!!!

A LAYMAN'S GUIDE TO INTERPRETING THE BIBLE BY Walter A. Henrichsen. (Don't like the title becos you dread the term layman, nevermind, change it to "Christian" becos every christians will need the necessary skills to avoid being conned by conmen nowadays.)

Wa boh eng ka li kon ani chuei!!!
