Perhaps this is only true in your case, it certainly isn't in mine, and alot of other Christians I know.

Perhaps this is your case. You may have alcohol intollerance, that causes you to be intoxicated by even a drop of wine. It is an inaccurate generalisation to say that wine in any quantity causes intoxication. For the rest of mainstream people, this is not the case. More importantly, we are not discussing your tolarance of alcohol or not. The basic thing is that Scripture does not prohibit wine drinking of the fermented variety. It does warn against abuse, or abuse of anything that destroys the temple of God.
