Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

wanting to vindicate whatever you said and only wanting to win an argument. ++Come off it, you talk as if you are innocent of such mentality as if you don’t need to substantiate your point or that you have no wish to change my mind. Of course I want to vindicate my point. Why else would I refer you to books and journals and other reference materials? You people always say that it is “MY” theory, all those references are to refute your weak charges. Do I want to win the argument? In a sense, yes, but not resorting to baseless retorts and labeling. But more so I seek to persuade and convince readers that the church deserve a more glorious expression than the institutional expression we are all familiar with. If I have made a good and strong case, then it is up to you to reflect on it and not sulk and pout and engage in vilifying remarks about me. If I have not made a case, then you can do me a favour by pointing out my deficiencies in knowledge and I am more than happy to continue in the exchanges to arrive at an even better understanding. Many people in this forum are sick and tired of your insistful ways. ++I didn’t know you can speak for everyone here. But I know of at least a couple of readers who have pondered about what I said and showed some basic appreciation. And BTW, what do you mean by my insistful ways? How have I imposed myself on you? You got feel stressed by me meh? As I see it, Anon was clearly trying to say that a Church is more than a building just as a school is more than a building. It is a system of the people for the people. ++And I am trying to tell you that a church is NOT even a building in the first place. And neither is it a system of the people for the people. Paraphrasing you, it would mean that the church is a system of the church for the church! Can you explain what that sentence mean? Doesn’t it reveal that you need to renew your thinking about the church? |
