You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."
Jesus describe the Holy Spirit as like the wind. I had not experienced what your friend went through, but I had seen someone fell under the Spirit and knock his head against the edge of the wooden pew seat. He was not injured, but it was a very hard knock and you should feel the pain if you do it concusiously. Christ raised dead, heal illness and cast out demons being filled with the Spirit. I reckon the Spirit do come and do as He wish, if we would allow Him.
