Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

I too was taken aback by the comments by Daniel. But on second thought, I think I see a point which could or could not have been the writer's intentions. With due respect to the originator of this thread, let me say that those who look towards the 'signs and wonders' as their principal tenets of faith are in fact the ones who mock the Holy Spirit. And those who profess to possess these so-called 'signs and wonders' are perhaps the ones who should suffer the fate as mentioned in Mark's gospel which was posted by Bernard. I view Daniel's comments as a reality check for all of us to recognise and remind ourselves that the foundations of our faith does not rest on the hulabaloos of a manipulative 'prophet' leading a gullible generation. When Moses faced Pharoah, don't forget that the Pharoah's 'sidekicks' were able to duplicate most of God's miracles performed thru Moses. If one was to put himself in the average Egyptian's shoes, Pharoah would surely be seen as God himself. After all, the Pharoah's powers were truly out of this world! Isn't it exactly what is happening to the current generation? |
