Never trust an anti-Catholic for fair comments about Catholic News Services.
Anti-Catholic Mr. Yip: "This episode teaches us to be wary of Roman Catholic history and news reporting. "
The truth of the matter is that Catholic News services reported very truthfully, and factually, on this matter. Even the entire speech by the Greek Patriarch can be found in on-line Catholic news. What I have given is from EWTN, which gives only very brief news. EWTN does not even give the full text of Pope John Paul II's speeches -- in most of its reporting about the Pope. So, one cannot expect EWTN to carry the full speech of the Greek Patriarch. Even then, EWTN always provides a link to ZENIT, where you can read the entire speech of the Greek Patriarch, ArchBishop Christodoulos. And EWTN reports fairly enough of the complaints of the Greeks: regarding the sack of Constantinople, the perceived Catholic proselytism, the political issue of Cyprus, etc. Please click below for full documentation of the Pope's visit to Greece -- from ZENIT News. http://www.angelfire.com/tx/filial/hellas.html Zenit news is accesible from here: EWTN is accessible here: http://www.ewtn.com/vnews/headlines.asp
