and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

Jason,
Please take some time and read my post: http://www.antioch.com.sg/cgi-bin/Agora-Pub/get/expressions/126/1/1/4/1/1/1.html You sound sincere but just as you said, words are sometimes meaningless. I would appreciate if you could take some time, really READ what I write and RESPOND to it. I have made an effort to fully respond to you and if you cannot even do the same even as an act of courtesy, is there any point in going further? If you would take some time and actually HEAR what I say, you will know if I am Lutheran, or Presbyterian, or something else. "Frog in the well", "to see is a prove" - all valid in relevant situations. Think: What you see may not represent what the Roman Catholic Church teaches. Again, please read my post. "Just an example, my grandpa had not been to US before, he had heard about US all his lifetime and he read it on newspaper, watched in TV news, and by friends who had been there before. Yet he self-declared that he truly know what US is like, then he showed me a photo and post-card from his friends....... I myself have been there and stayed for 2 yrs. Tell me, who know US's situation more?" If your grandpa watched the news on, say, how George Bush won the presidential race while you were living in a ranch in US with no TV or newspaper, who would truly know how George Bush was elected? Perhaps quite impossible to have no TV or news. Let's try another case. Your grandpa watches CNN, CNBC, CNA, ABC news on the presidential elections from his comfortable Singapore home. They give him reports from all over US, every state, etc. and they give him information from the parties and candidates, from the election office. You, on the other hand, is in Chicago. You go to city hall and you talked to the mayor about the elections, you talked to the local officials in Chicago and they tell you about the elections. YOu meet your fellow voters in city hall and talked about the elections. Now, who would truly know how George Bush was elected? You, in the US, or your grandpa, sitting comfortably in his Singapore home? Christopher
