Dear SK Thanks for your comments. The passage in Acts simply stated that Ananias 'to him said the Lord in a vision' {Actc 9:10]. What exactly was the vision God had not deemed fit that we should know. It would have to be a supernatural revelation. So whatever was said to Ananias was revealed to us as in verses 11 and following, that he was to go to the street called straight etc. Because these statements [as in the oringinal language] are in the bible we have to accept them as inspired and infallable. They are some who claim that the word of God is contained in the scriptures and we have to somehow dicipher which parts are and which are not God's words but we believe no such nonsense. The word of God IS the scriptures. All that is needed is for us to humbly accept the words of God and not argue and find fault with them, but O, it is so difficult, is it not? We come with our preconceived ideas and use our experiences to interpret scripture [eisegesis] instead of exegeting honestly the inspired word. There are those who put themselves above scripture as judge and jury but we will put ourselves beneath. Trust this answers your queries. Cordial regards
