if Christ were to visit us, we would still cry, 'Depart from us Lord, for we are sinful men'. No, we are not worthy to have the presence of the Lord so close this side of glory. ....Protestant.
Frank;None is ever worthy to receive His visitation. But can He visits us? When you realised your own sinfulness, such exclamations is natural. But our Lord had cleansed us from all sins, why not accept His presence? I want to correct your false humility, that has no merit in quoting this instances of Peter's encounter. If you do not accept His presence into your life, you are none of His fold and sheep. You are still very much unsaved.I would ecourage you to receive Christ as your PERSONAL SAVIOUR,inviting Him right into your life, and Lord. When you tell Christ to depart from your presence,He will.So do not blindly quote scriptural verses anymore. Please do it properly and intelligently;and false humility is foolish. Peter count it unworthy to have Master to wash his dirty feet.Jesus said that if He washes not Peter's feet,Peter is not His sheep.False humility is blinding Christian. Angels do speak to People. Are they not ministering spirits sent to minister to us who are heirs of Salvations? A centurion told us of his encounter,as recorded in the Bible. This is supernatural.I want to impress upon all, that it is happenning then,so it is happenning now,if scriptures meant anything. God used to have fellowship,at evening with Man till his fall. Now we talk and prayed to Him like our Father. We are counted worthy through Christ our Lord, and fellowship restored. So do not think it strange if He ever speaks to you,in whatever He does. Please learn as I try to communicate you from His teachings.
