Is a person's spiritual standing got to do with 40 days fast? What has it got to do with the line of questioning or issues above? Why did Jesus fasted 40 days and 40 nights?Is there any significance or is there true meaning deeper than we can realised? When the Bridegroom is taken away from them,they shall fast. Of course there is significance.Just like,is there any significance if a person prays everyday,abstain from ungodly passions,patience with foolish people,who talk non-sense,... attend church,involve in good works,etc..etc...
A person spiritual standing,in the heart,we do not know.But we do know if a person does something.Like a person who fasted 40 days,it is real something.We can see very clearly,from simple understanding that such a person must have deep devotions,or interest so great to do such a thing.This is common sense.You do not even need to questions,from the outset.
A spiritual standing is determined by the deep commitments.If 40 days fast is not that determinants factors,then what is? Jesus tells people to fast.A person who fast,he obeys Jesus. A Person who refused to fast,he is not listening.
Other religion people who fast,they obey their master. We Christian who fast,we obey our Master. Is that understood?
Who is a Pharisee?
Which name calling I shared is not justified? Sadhu is a respectable Christian in our Singapore country.I have proved. He is very much loved and respected by myself,and by all Christian leaders,and above all my Master Jesus Christ.
The only people who dislike him,is A Pharisee. If anyone offend him,is offending me,and also offending Jesus my Lord.
