but to say that a person can have a direct encounter with God as did the patriarchs or Paul is a dangerous and heretical claim....Protestant.
Frank;I have direct encounter with God everyday.Are you stating that you are not?Paul's encounter with God and our encounter with God is differant,so are you a believer of Paul or not?How can God,who is our Father,who had deep fellowship with us everyday,is dangerous?You are out of your minds,not believing the Bible at all!

Pro;If there are no new revelations, than what precisely is the point of repeating what is already known in scripture?
Frank:So why are you repeating the folly of other man's words here? We always repeat what is already known in the scriptures.You are meaningless here,repeating the same folly of many folks who lack knowledge.
The point of repeating scriptures?You mean to tell me that your Preacher,do not repeat scriptures in the pupit?Are you a cult?We believe the scriptures so we repeat it.We only preach the scriptures.We repeat the scriptures.
For the sake of intelligent Christians,let me explain. Is God working or is He idle?Since our God works among us,how on earth are we able to recognise His ways?The Bible of course,is our guide.God is consistent in His ways,after we know Him by experience,and by looking into His words.So if God ever show forth Revelations to any souls,it can never be out of line of scriptures.Why?God is consistent with His words.
We know Jesus appeared to many after His resurrections.It would be consistent that He still does.He appeared to Paul,and many others.So it is scriptural that He does these things.
No new Revelations?So God do need to tell things to people nowadays.No more revelations,so no need to preach the gospel.????I have seen too many disobedient children! Acts 2;18..I will pour my Spirit in those days and they shall prophesy.God told us in His words that in these days there will be abundance of Revelations,and you Protestant telling us,the direct opposite..shall we not reject your untruths?By the scriptures,I reject your explanations.Since you claim that you can never have any revelations from God direct,all the more your words are to be rejected.It is untruths.
Protestant:All things necessary to be known and believed concerning salvation and the deep things of God are sufficiently laid out in scripture. There is no need for unbiblical and extrabiblical 'revelations'.
Frank:Such "false accusations..of unbiblical,extra Biblical" and the foolishness of those writers ,are evident. Who is looking for unbiblical things?Since you are speaking so much unbiblical things,it is you that People should dumped. God promised of Revelations to us,is in itself Biblicals.God promised to lead us By His Spirit.God promised His comforter,to reside in us and show us many things to come.Yet you had the audacites,like the most foolish theologians,who were infamous of corrupting the scriptures,chide us for trusting God's words!!!!
The Lord speak to His servants everyday,by visions,dreams,prophecies,word of knowlege...or for Babes in Christ...through Teachers of the Word,circumstances,illuminations,advice of Christians,etc etc,,,,.....Have you not read,But as many that are led By the Spirit,they are the sons of God!God's words revealed the ways that He show forth things to His servants,in Voice,visions,Prophecies,etc etc...who are you to twist the scriptures for your ill logics?....
