Feedback Ah, science to the rescue again

Re: None What happens when we die? (Confused)

Both are right. For you, you will be immediately in the presence of the Lord. But for someone on earth it will be like a long time in the future when you will meet the Lord.

Einstein has shown that the rate of time is not a constant in the universe - his theory of Relativity. You may want to try and read up on it and you will see that St Peter, who was certainly no Albert Einstein, was right on what he said about Time.

Now how did Peter know about this? I offer two possible answers. Either he was inspired by the Holy Spirit in the way the Old Testament prophets were inspired or he learned it from Jesus.

Once again I say science and the Bible are complementary.
