Hi Edmund:
Interestingly, I can accept religion as faith but I got problems with religion as rational, objective thought. So I can understand when people say they believe god exists on faith. But when god is said to be able to stand up to rational and objective thought, then I have difficulty. Worse still, right after saying god is rational and objective, the next thing is that god is mysterious and beyond man's understanding. It's like "huh?".

Well, for one thing, if he is to make himself more visible and accessible to people, he will find more people coming to him, acknowledging him and giving thanks to him, starting with me.

I don't see why god need to stamp out humanity in order to stamp out sin. Again contradict his all-powerful nature.

Not this either. An all-powerful and all-loving god can stop evil and suffering AND still provide his subjects with eternal life.
