Sorry for eavesdropping to all the conversations you guys are having. I must admit i haven't thot so much details like you did, about God before finding Him. But i like to ask you one question...have you ever talk to God yourself?
I used to be like you, refusing to accept any 'theories' my classmates used to tell me about the existence of God. The reason is that during my primary school days, for my first lesson in history, i was told we are descended from apes. And that THOUGHT just got lodged in without my asking any question...my great, great, great ancestor is like Ah Meng!!?!! How did that 'FAITH' come in just like that and when those who had an experience about God tell us we are created by the Almighty...how come DOUBT just arose form within? It is more than just trying to sort out God and the Universe by sheer LOGIC. (There is the element of the spiritual aspect of us, that we can only discern after being born again as a Christian.) Else many great minds would be the first to discover God b4 the rest of mankind. But alas you know it is not this way.
So how to find God? Since God is God whether you think He exists or not, why don't you tell Him directly yourself. (He knows your qeuries about Him and cares more for you than you ever thought about Him.) I'm suggesting this not to insult you or anyone's else intelligence, but it's what happened one day. I looked up into the Heaven and told Him 'If You really are God, of course I want to know you.' And the rest is history...else i'll won't be here talking to you about Him , which is what my friends have been doing. :-)
