Hope i didn't offend you with Gen 18. It came as i was typing the reply. The thot that came with the text was that Abraham took care with all his preparation to make his Guest comfortable and having a rest( in application would our worship we offer to God thus ministering to Him), and later the Lord revealed His plans to Abraham. Thus Abraham was able to stand in the gap in intercession for his loved ones living in the sinful cities. Intercession does play a very important role too besides the presentation of the Gospel in different ways and through different avenues.
