Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

I hope and pray that you will find a christian friend who will remain with you regardless of whether you convert or not. And that through it you will see the Gospel of Christ written on the heart of your friend.
I apologise for the reception you have received so far. pls forgive us.
I would like to remind my Chrisian brethern that non christians are humans too created by the loving hand of God and not to be treated as a statistic. We are called to live and share our lives in the Gospel and not called to sell it. If you are not prepared to spend time loving and knowing a person for being a person, what makes you think that he will benefit from your sale of the gospel? All conversion happens in the Lord's time. And please do not convert and desert the individual thereafter, conversion is very much beyond the baptism and altar call. That happens when you are not prepared to know him as a person and a friend. And the way I look at it, it happens a lot in the church. Churches should re-examine their evangelisation methodolgy. I have seen people lamenting the small numbers at altar calls after all the money, time and effort spent at big evangelical rallies. That I believe is a far way of what we are called to do. Conversion and acceptance of the gospel is a process and there is no point forcing things down people throats. We are all called to different paths to conversion. Some people take longer time than others. Look to Christ and see how he converted. Out of his whole life, how much time did he spend evangelising people the way the Christians are doing today? He always approach his people as humans. He spend a lot of time converting his followers and he is never seen forcing people to convert. We are called to win hearts for christ, we are not called to meet a statistic. We are called to love. What is the point of asking people down for cell groups meeting time and again when you do not bother to know him and find out the reason why he does not want to turn up? Maybe he is just uncomfortable and not ready? if the intention is merely to gain a statistic, the phone calls will stop and the invites will end. Please note that God is more eager to convert that whole world than the church is. He gave us grace to be his followers and for us to evangelise, but please realise that he also gave everyone a choice. The key i believe is to live the gospel and share it. DO NOT SELL THE GOSPEL! If you want to evangelise and convert others, please learn to love the person first!
