The nature of the pastor's comment ("this forum should not be a place for an individual or certain denominations to publish materials which are offensive to other churches") makes me more inclined to believe that his/her complaint is on the basis of theology rather than personal interests.

As one who shares a Methodist viewpoint myself, I suspect that the problem may lie with the fact the article touches on the issue of sanctification, which is rather close to the heart of "the people called Methodists". However, I personally do not see anything obviously objectionable or unbiblical in the original article, but me being unlearned in such things, I would really appreciate it if the pastor could enlighten us all for the sake of public edification.
