Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

Dear Evelyn, What my friend is trying to say is, a fundamentalist is not wrong in the sight of God. Its better for a senior member to guide along, right? God never design us to be independent, but inter-dependent on one another for fellowship. May it be your church friends, pastor, etc. learning God's word is more than a life-time. We may meet up with difficulties in interpreting as some of your Protestant friends already indicated that meanings from bible may be twisted and become destructing to our faith if misinterpreted! Its wrong for a human to think that he/she can do anything by himself, even Moses got the help of his own people and St Paul, St Peter is there to help him in his preachings and difficulties. I do respect your thinking as God created us in different unique way. There maybe dangers if you don't watch your steps as you are walking alone in your own exploration of the WORDS, I do suggest, pray for the Holy Spirit's help in opening your spiritual eyes and guide you with his light everytime before you start to do your quiet time, well, this is just my suggestion, if you don't think its sensible, its ok. I am not trying to teach you what to do as I have no right to control people's life. But I will always stand up for Unity and Peace. I pray to God for his Guardian Angel to watch over you and The Holy Spirit to guide you through all your quiet time with Jesus. A daily bread booklet which has daily and monthly messages is gd as I used it too! Enjoy seeking God's word and share the good news among others! God's Blessings be to you, Daniel Church of The Holy Spirit |
