Hi TrueLight, I understand from Kim that you people belive that the Father is Jesus and the Holy Spirit is also Jesus, right? I think given the choice between Trinity and Oneness, yours raise more problems if one uses only Bibilical data and nothing else. So I'd prefer to leave Oneness theology alone and concentrate on the problems of Trinity. Just because there are problems with the doctrine of Trinity it does not follow the alternate must be Oneness theology. The answer may lie somewhere else. As usual I'll see what the scientists have to say on difficult subjects. In quantum theory the sum of the parts need not be equal to the whole and there is this concept of "togetherness-in-separation" for particles. These concepts may throw some light on the doctrine of Trinity. In the meantime I think the earliest Creed is a sufficient summary of the true christian faith. Bye Bye: |
