Enjoy... But remember

and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

This baptismal formula is given by the Lord Jesus Himself...even if Acts didn't record the full formula.
Luke just record what the 1st church did, not necessary in all the details. But Jesus instructed on the baptismal formula.
***This is a very dangerous statement. How can you presume something that is not written in the Bible? If everyone were to do like you, this not recorded, that not recorded, then everyone will have his own doctrine. C'mon SK, think again. Whose words carry more authority here then, the command of Jesus or the recordings of a historian? ***Are you saying that we only follow the words in red??? Are we going to throw away the rest of the books? Jesus' command of course carry authority, but it must not contradict His own word. Please understand that the writers are not ordinary historians. They are moved by the Spirit when they wrote the books. The whole Bible is the holy word of God, not the red letters only!. Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38 does not contradict. The Apostles follow Jesus' commandment in Matthew 28:19 by baptising in the "name"(singular) of the FSH, that is JESUS. Besides the teaching of Christ Himself in John's gospel (which is your favourite book as you have said) about the Father and the Holy Spirit, the NT is replete with the mentioning of the 3 Persons sometimes simultaneously and often not just one of them at a time. ***That is only your assumption. Father, Son, Husband, 3 persons? No! It is me alone, my roles as Father, Son and Husband.
