Enjoy... But remember

It is true that the terms Triune God and Trinity are not in the Bible. But that does not mean that there is no Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost in the Bible. If I were to be rebaptised in the Name of Jesus only, then to me, it means I deny the existence of the Father and the Holy Ghost. This is contrary to the plain teachings of the Bible everywhere and to me it means I have left the christian faith. I don't know what the status is, before God, of those who get rebaptised in the Name of Jesus after being baptised in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. To me it means to reject the plain teachings of the Scriptures and to accept man's interpretation of it. We have a 1001 interpretation for almost everything in the Bible. Why should I accept any one of them? So there is no way I'm going to get rebaptised again for any reason whatsoever. It means to renounce the christian faith and to accept "another god". That is how I see it. |
