Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

I don't believe in any further revelations after Christ. God has in these last days spoken to us through His Son, Heb 1:1, and that is it. This final revelation is recorded for us in the NT. No more revelations and no more prophets after that, as far as I am concerned. Revelation is closed after Christ and the Apostles. The Apostles did warn us to watch out for false prophets after they are gone. John the Baptist was the last of the prophets before Christ. After him it is the rule and reign of the Son of God who is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, the only mediator between God and man, I Timothy 2:5. All who come to God must come through Him. Ephesians 4:4-6 says, "... there is one Spirit, ... one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." So, the plain teaching of the Scripture is there is one Spirt, one Lord and one God and Father, who is above all. Also there is only one baptism. No such thing as rebaptism for any reason. Scripture reveals that God the Father is also "God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father or glory, Ephesian 1:17, just as Christ told Mary, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." John 20:17. The original Apostles didn't seem to have any problems in understanding the one God who is the Father, the only begotten Son of God who is the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost who is the Spirit of God. The only reliable revelation of God is the Bible. Everything and everybody else must be taken with a pinch of salt. |
