I agree with you that before the Fall man had perfect free-will but he lost it after the Fall. Now perfect free-will exist only in theory. Those who have tried to keep the Law of God have found that they couldn't do it perfectly. Hence the different theories of santification to circumvent this problem. But most of them don't work. Entire santification, perfect obedience and sinless perfecton are impossible in this life no matter what one does.

So we still are and always will be dependent on the grace and power of God to save us even after regeneration. We still sin after regeneration and if we say we have no sin we decieve ourselves. If we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive our sins. If we say we have not sinned we make God a liar and His word is not in us, I John 1:8-10.
