Bill: Have you ever read "The Rules of Benedict". And the history of the Benetictine Order? Do you think that if one broke off from the Church in that time of schism and disorder and Church Politic, that they would not be discredited or even murdered, as was the practice of The Roman Catholic Church at times.

Damien: "Are you trying to say that Jesus never bless and lead the Catholic church at

all?

Bill: Yes ! Absolutely ! If you mean the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus neither

blessed nor led the Roman Catholic Church. The term "Catholic" was not coined

until the late first century or early second century and it means "universal"

and has no reference to what was to later become the Roman Catholic Church.

The Roman Catholic Church did not exist at the time of Jesus.

Mr. Hall, Your Theology is non-existant and you seem to have no knowledge of

your own Church history or the history of Christianity. Your uneducated jibes at

Luther and Prodestantism and your foisting of history will convince no one of

anything except your lack of knowledge of the matters of which you speak.

I suspect that you may have a zeal for God, but certainly not according to knowledge nor of Scripture.

I see no further point of discussion in this matter.

I will pray for you that God may open your eyes to spiritual understanding.
