For example: Some one gets a vision that tells him/her to bomb an abortion clinic. This vision may be real but it is not from God. -------------- I am not sure what you mean 'add' to scripture. If it means to existing doctrines, commandments..etc, then I don't think we can add anything there. God has given us all we need to know. If it means, in a sense that we edify the church, ex. a new psalm, song..then I guess it makes sense. I personally think that there is nothing to add to scripture. God has given us a complete instruction book, and if He has to add to it, now, I think it means that it wasn't complete before. i.e. the canon wasn't closed... BTW: Why can't God give a vision to Bomb an Abortion clinic? He told to slay the heathen in the older days without mercy....
