Enjoy... But remember
"Don't give in to winning the argument
and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

What you're saying is what is called among some charismatics circles about the transfer of spirits.
I think it is more important to be walking in obedience according to the word of the Lord than to be frightened at every prayer meeting concerning the status of the person who is going to lay hands and pray over you (if your church practice that). Read psalm 91 and see Who actually protects us. Ultimately our walk with the Lord is not dependent on the spirituality of our leaders though influenced to a certain extent, because they do provide the mentoring, caring and spiritual guidance. We still are ourselves responsible for the wellbeing of our own spiritual lives. As for new believers there is a greater risk for they are not able to discern if their leader carries a wrong spirit. But i believe the Lord will expose those who are not walking rightly before Him when in His service, for the sheep belong to Him. Be more fearful of the Lord than of the devil instead of the other way round.
