and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

Hail Mary, Is praising Mary of her obedience to God's command on acceptance of giving birth to Jesus and to bring him up, as the message to her was by St Gabriel, the Archangel. Hail Mary, Is not praying to Mary, but to ask her to pray for us in heaven to the Holy Trinity. This is what we call prayers intercession. Honor and Praying to and Glorifying are of different meanings. Don't get mixed up. Hail Mary, At the age of 12, our Lord is already preaching in the temple when Mary and Joseph lost him. We call this the Presentation of Christ in the temple. A miracle is requested to be performed on a lame man, but Christ replied that its not the right time yet for him to perform. Upon Mary's mercy on the lame man, she asked Christ to perform the miracle for the sake of Thy Kingdom to come, Christ agreed and the lame man was healed! That's the reason why we believe in Mary's intercession. Hail Mary, If you wanted to talk about biblical things or issue, how many of us can read and extract all the meanings in the Book from Hebrew and Greek translation and from the Early Manuscripts? Jerome did it a great job on revising on the versions of the Catholic bible. There were 3 forms of Greek Biblical Translations: 1. Papyri, covering period from third century B.C to the fourth century A.D. 2. Vellum unicals, a form of masjuscule(large letter) of various dates from the fourth to the nineth centuries, beginning with the Codex Vaticanus and the Codex Sinaiticus referred to above. 3. Vellum miniscules, from the nineth to the invention of printing, of which, there are over 4,000. Of the Latin versions, the most celebrated is the Vulgate( Language of the common people) Other translations found in the early bible texts are the Coptic, Armenian, Gergian, Gothic and Ethiopic versions. My brethren, biblical truth to be learnt entirely is not as easy as you think. Damien Hall |
