Seems to me the 'Hail Mary' prayer was constructed by plucking various verses of the Bible from the Old and New Testament. Then I can also take verses from the Bible, build my own 'prayer', say it's biblical and expect the Lord to answer it.

Prayer goes beyond saying all the right things. Prayer is relationship with God, it is knowing who He is. Does saying the prayer of 'Hail Mary' draw one into the truth and presence of God?
