God Bless All Let me give an gross example of "cut & paste" Bible foisting. By taking three verses out of context an putting them together and removing a word or two. I will use Matt 27:5 and Luke 13:3 and Acts 8:20 It would read like this: And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Thy money perish with thee. Thus, I have proven a thing "from the Bible". This may seem rediculious. But it is not. Is this Biblical? Absloutely not ! Immagine the endless possibilities and rammifications. Sadly this type of Theology has been and still is used by both Prodestants and Catholics alike who hold the Bible with very little regard. Tradition seems to take precedent. We will never have anything like unity as long as we and our leaders and Theologians continue to use these types of errant interpetation techniques to prove our preconcieved notions and doctrines.
