Dear Christopher,

My guess is that Emmanuel is referring to you in a fond manner, kind of like: "my dear friend", hence "my evangelist" since he sees you as someone who actively evangelizes.

Latin classes conducted by the church in Singapore? Not that I'm aware of (that's how much I know). But all this is easily available on the net.
