You are really curious about my denominational background arent you? Appreciate the interest....and good intentions.

Yes, I am from a mainline Prot. denom. Evangelical base. Got zapped by BHS but possibly not zapped enough to get too excited at that point. Trained at a non-charismatic (but not anti-charismatic)place. Am still in the same mainline Prot denom.

A charismatic (as defined by some scholar whose name I still cant pronounce: Quebedeaux-"The New Charismatics") is one who is into the baptism of/in/with the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Spirit etc....but who is a member of a mainline denomination eg the person is an Anglican charismatic,a Baptist charismatic, a Lutheran charismatic, a Methodist charismatic, a Roman Catholic charismatic. This defin.separates the charismatic from the Pentecostals ( a general overall brand name for AGs, Four Square, Nazarene, etc). Whether he is correct or not...is not my pasar. I am only using his defin.
