Dear Emmanuel, The Word of God is right, not me. It is not so important to me to be right. To the extent that I "rightly divide the word of truth" I am a workman that needs not to be ashamed. This is what I endeavor to do. See, I am a Methodist. Founded by John Wesley an Anglican Priest and missionary. I grew up in the University United Methodist Church at Louisiana State University. The message at my church was more socio-political than Christ. The Bible was not taught for the most part. I learned this on my own for the most part in my personal endeavor to know God. I had to lay aside my Church prejudice, because the more I studied the Scriptures the more my own preconcieved notions got in the way. It was very difficult for me. I had to weigh my loyalty to the Church against my loyalty to God an Christ. I was not encouraged by my own Church. I remain a member of the Methodist Church but am not locked into Methodism. I am more interested in pleasing God than the Church. In God's Grace Bill
