That sounds like a lousy way to get out of having to deal with the issue. So often when the discussion gets tough someone just cry "oh you are so close-minded and hardened therefore I'm out of this". I don't really fancy this ruse. I'd rather that the person take time-out or simply state that hs is not interested rather than taking a jab at his opponent.
