Emmanuel, I believe you may have missed the point . If you can go to the OT Law and ressurect the Livitical Priesthood and declare it "biblical" and say it is a "fact." And then say we must apply this to the Church today. This is what I call Pick and Choose Theology. What is to prevent anyone from saying the same thing about other parts of the Law. I used circumcision as an example only. We accept that the practice of circumcision is not applicable today in Christianity. Why. Because of a greater Covenant. The same applies to the Law of Moses. There is a greater Covenant. Sin is "biblical." This does not make it something we should practice. My point is that you can't just pick and choose what you want out of the OT and declare it "biblical." We must discern what parts of the OT are applicable and parts are not. Ever read Galations and Hebrews concerning the Law ? God Bless, Bill |
