Enmanuel, "but if you take Ten Commandments out of OT, how do you explain?" No one is suggesting we take anything out of the OT. But this is exactly what I am talking about! What is applicable and what is not? Are we saved by the 10 Commandments? Should we teach them as as Laws that "must" be followed by Christians. What about the other 900 + laws? Do we follow them also? Or just select the first 10? Were the 10 Commandments negated by the New Covenant? These are some the questions we must ask about the Law and the OT before we attempt to apply them to Christianity. Not all of the OT is Levitical Law. There are many wonderful principals and teaching in the OT that can be applied to the NT Church. But we should be careful that we don't put ourselves under the Law that Christ died to free us from. "in return, the doctrines that Luther and his gang are made up inspirations?" Emmanuel, where have ever quoted Luther? Or said that the doctrines of "Luther and his gang" were inspired. I have not said that. Luther offends me with his attrocities! Rome offends me with their attrocities! I say that the Word of God is inspired. Not Luther not Roman Catechism! Did not I post to you about the atrocities of Luther and Calvin? Possibly you mistake me for someone else? Your Brother in Christ Bill |
