I agree. We do not need a fruitless discussion hashing out works vs faith one more time.

What "works" were you referring to in your post ?
As anonymous pointed out there are different "works."
Works of the Law, Good Works, Works of Darkness, Works of the Flesh ......? These are Biblical usages of "works" and of course have different meanings.
So if we define "works" for the pupose if this discussion we can keep it focused.
Anonymous also suggested we define "faith" as well.
