Emmanuel, An unbiased and comprehensive study of Martin Luther will show that Luther entered the Black Monestary at Efert, Germany in July of 1502, joining the Augustinian Hermits an order of the menedictant monks. He was ordained a Priest on April 3, 1507, the second year of his monastic life. And on and on May 2, 1507, he celebrateed his first mass. He was 23 at the time. Luther then went on to study and teach. In 1512 was arwarded his Doctorate of Theology at the University of Wittenberg. God Bless, Bill |
