Hi Royston, Thanks for your reply. I have some questions for you about the Messianic Jews. Have you met them in person or are in contact with them? Reason why i ask is, if you do know them, i like to consult them regarding end-times according to how the Jews see it besides understanding how they interprete the Scriptures. I think they have a different approach from our jambo-mambo towards how Scriptures should be interpreted. If they could join in this Forum, that will be great. Ok back to the topic on food again. You said, "Even though Paul was addressing the issues of food, to the Gentiles, yet he himself kept to the food laws. He did not sever from it hence Messianic Jews ought to follow the Judaic food laws, and God also decreed that those who sojourns(lives and abides by your faith) with you, are to be subjected to these laws. Because it is recorded in Leviticus 20:26 and 21:8, under the aspect of food laws, You shall be holy, for I the Lord am holy." Is there any proof on this from the Scriptures that Paul did not practice what he taught about food? Did he still fully practice all the Judaic laws still after Christ had come to fulfil much of the Old Testament sacrifices? I haven't thought about this or done much study on this yet but like to understand more about what the Bible as a whole teach. Blessings in Christ, SK |
