Dear Frank, I do not beleive that Martin suggested that growth in numbers bad, or that Churches should discourage growth. Not at all. What I got out of it was a challenge of the practices of Church programs that focus on the numbers as the "soul measure of success." I think that numbers must be balanced with other things that cannot be so easliy measered. Like Love, joy, peace, kindness, faith etc. God Bless You, Bill Roth
