Hi Wahshing,
Please don't misunderstand. I'm not writing because you're new to this board nor is it a case of my dislike for reading your other messages. I'm trying to let you know that there have been churches like yours and who had gone through diffficult trying times too. That's what i meant when i say its nothing new. It's no reflection of who you are or your writing aptitude. Perhaps i'v been reading too much about FCBC grouses here and it hurts to see a church being place on the operating table out in the open public when the Church itself is not present to give a single answer to questions that you and many others have been bringing up for more than a month. All i'm asking is please seek godly counsel to work through some (though not all, i can understand some of the difficulties you face) of the problems you and your church members are having with your church rather than to resort to posting endless queries you've having about the church. When some of your church memebers post about any activity from your church here, have you read the responses that came in from those outside? (Perhaps you're not aware of this if you're very new here and i thot you might have read them earlier. I'm sorry for not checking that with you first before replying.) It only increase people's illfeelings rather than enhances goodwill towards FCBC. At least there are few who wrote in to foster better understanding of the problems perceived but majority add only fuel to the fire already started. Most of the time the problems are also magnified by the fact that different denominations view other denominations through their own theological lenses and for a charismatic church to be under scruntiny by a largely more evangelical community, it will be asking for 'crucification of the church' instead of bringing healing, restoration God's way and reconciliation.) Even if the church has really make some great mistakes, it cannot be those who are standing on the outside, who have never had any ties with the church before, who will be able to straighten things out. It will have to be from those within the similar denominations who at least share similiar theological approaches to church's practices and realtime (not virtual) friends of the church. I think (tho i may be wrong) online community are mostly just readers and gossipers (if we spread the news around) if i may dare say this honestly. May the Lord help us all here.
