Enjoy... But remember

and losing one of your eternal crowns..."

Hi SL, Indeed, this question of what we can air, whether we should be politically correct or Biblically sound in our arguments can be read differently from various people's standpoint, and whether it might be removed for corporate reasons, we would not have an answer to this. Ü So I understand and emphathise over your dilemma. I guess, I would choose Biblically sound as the approach to adopt. Because being politically correct only ends up with us trying to please man. If we are for God and wish to honour God, then when we speak what God has already commanded in His Word, and have not drifted from its intent for everyone, then the Word is our defence. Honestly, the questions I have raised might not be that easy to answer. Maybe there are no answers. It would probably serve better as a check list for us, whether what does Christ think about His church, if He were to return today. As for your questions, I need more time to think through them. Probably Wah Shing might be able to add his comments, or anyone else who has been following this thread? On the question of leadership and vision, no where in the Bible, except probably Lot and Abraham, Paul and Barnabas did we see a discord develop, and how things turned out afterwards. Honestly, my opinion is, it is never the intention of God to have Christian brothers squabble over differing visions or opinions, but because of who we are, fallen as we are, God allows it to happen, but ultimately making good the outcome in the process. Hence, God then becomes limitless, infinite in His way of handling things. While we, who are 3 dimensional in our view of life, cannot see past today. What we make mistakes of, He corrects, like the Grand Master Weaver. So maybe there is wisdom in leaving the church when one do not agree to the vision. But that might not be the best step to take. Maybe. Anybody have any opinions on what we are discussing? God's peace, royston |
