Televangelist-faith healer Benny Hinn has admitted that he
frequented the grave site of Aimee Semple McPherson
(1890-1944) to get the anointing from her bones. He
describes such a visit at her grave in Southern California:
I felt a terrific anointing...I was shaking all over...trembling under the power of God... 'Dear God,' I said , 'I feel the anointing'...I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee's body. One of the most astonishing facts about Sister Aimee is the way she was buried. Mrs. McPherson was laid to rest in an ornate casket equipped with a live telephone!2 Benny has such an admiration for this woman that he has often visited her grave. One question remains unanswered: Did Benny bring with him his cellular phone? It is well-known that Benny Hinn admires his idol Kathryn Kuhlman (1907-1976) and her ministry. He has done so for years. The way he operates his ministry reflects the way Kathryn operated hers. The only difference I've been able to observe is that Miss Kuhlman wore a white dress and Benny wears a white suit. To say that she greatly influenced him is an understatement. If I told you that she still has an impact on him, even from her grave, would that surprise you? She is buried in a private section of a California cemetery, enclosed within a brick wall. Something is amazing. In the whole garden (the size of a several tennis courts) there was only one tomb that had fresh flowers on it. Kulhman's plaque had been adorned with 4 fresh roses. Why 4, and not one, or 6, or maybe a dozen? Would it be far fetched to say that there was one for each of Benny's children (4)? I don't want to sound charismatic, but he doesn't live real far from this cemetery. He has mentioned a number of times that he's visited her grave, that he's one of the few who possesses a key that opens the door of her lot! Does he want a portion of this so-called anointing for each of his beloved children? And look at the photo. Three are pink and one is white! Benny has three girls and one boy! Judging from the freshness of these flowers, I almost came face to face with the mysterious admirer. Let me say that I visited both hers and Aimee Semple McPherson's tombs. Standing right at their graves, at the same place Benny has stood, I must say I didn't feel no anointing whatsoever (not even Benny's)! Yves Brault - Fake Faith Healers
