Dear Friends, whether a person is healed after a prayer from others even whom is anointed in such gifts, is not up to our expectation. Healing can take place instanteously, prolong, thru' medical support, or even not healing at all. Not healing at all? You may wonder why. The purpose of not healing at all, may lead to other good reasons like, causing or impacting others to be saved thru' the suffering of the unhealed or dead. Frank, your point is true too, that God is present, and Science is far from His Wisdom in curing. Decision lies upon God, not us to force or beg for. He has his own reason and planning behind. Chris, your point is true too, why not let yours and Frank's be combined and edified into a good explanation for this issue, I may not have responded to your postings for quite a while, but this is my genuine sharing here. Mnay reasons are behind God's decision upon healing. Some believers without being prayed for were cured of terminal diseases too. Its the excersise of one or more faith in prayers. Frank may have put high faith and prayed for the lady, as indiviuals, we can't tell of a person's Actual Amt of Faith within him or her thru' appearance, the lady may have not trusted Jesus in his 100% healing power or lost of confidence in herself by the impact of this terminal disease as a blow to her. Or its by God's idea that thru' her suffering may lead one or more to salvation. In His Love, Emmanuel |
