ME: It is the bible that teaches us to seek Him but the bible does not teach us to demand. It teaches us to have faith, sure, but it also says, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14), not "If ye shall ask any thing, I will do it", but to ask it in His name. To ask in His name, is to ask according to His will, for His glory. Do you not believe that we can glorify God in our infirmities, Frank?
Christopher Frank:Most Christian had mistaken notions about Consecrations and Sacrifice. When we talk about Consecrations,it is like Parenting parents. As Parents,we go through great sacrifice to help our Children succeed.We provide their educations,and needs.We trim our expenses,and would not lavish on luxurious goods and had less to spent on our children needs.We live modestly. Is it our desires to see our children well fed,having material possesions,prosper in business,in good health,in joy and happiness?Of course,we must be that,if to fit in as good Parents. The message of health and wealth is actually sound in itself. This is what we all want. But,should another noble soul comes along,and showed us a better way,an excellently way;that is we should be generous in our givings,be sacrificial of our time,instead of making more tidy profits in our business venture spending much time on that persuits,..but should focus on salvations of souls as priority,it fare better. So that parents became poorer,after heeding the words of Better way.But ignorant Charismatics come along,as usual,"You are poor because you do not Pay Tithes,so you are under curses"The parents having provided so much for the children,has now become ill afford for many things for himself.All because of sacrifice!Sometimes,live under poverty lines. Who can understand the words "Consecrations". Are there many noble like Paul,who could weathered so much for the Lord whom he passionately loves? Yes,we can glorify in our "Infirmities"like Paul. But please,let us never glorify God in our sicknesses..We cannot.Sicknesse cannot please God.But we can glorify God in our Patience and Perseverance and cling steadfastly by our pure devotions of love to Him despite of our sicknesses!!! We do not become bitter because of our sickness, We do not blame this or that or anything. We may not accept this sickness as from God,but we can continue to bless Him in such bad timing. We should ask for healings and get it ultimately,like JOB. As a human Father,when my child learn good lessons,I am more please than all wealth or Certs from school. As a Father,it gladden my heart to see her well and healthy than to be sickly all the time.It will break my hearts. Why did God feel grieved,and shared our sufferrings,if He does not seem to care?It is because He wants to bless us,so was the reasons of His feelings,'Jesus wept'. Love in Christ,frank,[eom.]
