SA, Do you really think that OT is devoid of Christ? Ü If so, then why did John write in John 1, about Christ being in the beginning. As long as Christ is the Word, then He was in OT as well. God spoke to create all things in Genesis, hence, it is clear that John parallelled this as well by stating 'all things came into being by Him and apart from Him, nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life and the life was the light of men". The completeness of Christ is also identified through the Prophets, like Isaiah just to mention one of them, through the prophecies of the Messiah. However, I would agree that Jesus' name was not mentioned or carved out except in Matthew, but the angel, Gabriel called Him "Immanuel": God with us, while Joseph called him Jesus. Ü Care to comment why your one liner? This is more fun to talk about than whether or not End Time or Revival. God bless, royston |
