Hi John Doe,
Enough of joking about you. I'm sorry for making fun of your name...just can't take yr character-name without linking it to the AntiChrist in the Bible and even more so when you add 666 to it. I've seen what you're warning about end-time apostasy. Will answer you later (provided if i can find more insights to this topic ) as i may have to study more scriptures to give a proper reply. But since this thread is on healing i'll try to answer your questions here first. But before that, i like to take this opportunity to mention this to all who read this thread that the focus in this thread has been turned onto Kathryn Khulman's ministry instead of the doctrine of healing, and i find it has not served the proper purpose of discussion. I HATE if i may use this word honestly to bring a servant of God (even if pple don't regard her so) and put her on 'trial via post-mortem'. Tell me if we are to be God-fearing, like what you're trying to say in the thread on "Wine", the laws of God is the benchmark, not just our having right intention only, then won't we all be judged for doing a unbalanced critique of her ministry in the WWW, and she's not able to respond to her critics? So i hope we all can learn to keep to discussing issues without specifically bringing out names in future. (Do you think God won't judge us all [myself included] for our many, many careless words and 'hidden meanings' here and not just in the real world?) Here then are my replies:
"I am not saying that. I do however say that there is another side which most of the christians don't think about. I'd say that God works through it all. Even during the works of Satan, Jesus will let His purposes come to pass by saving and healing many." Have you properly studied the past healings-cum-evangelistic crusades well enough to say that these are the works of Satan as you had mentioned above. Please don't jump to conclusion just like that. If you can't understand the past revivals enough to forgo outdated doctrines, at least ask the Lord to show you the truth about all those names whom you think is working in collaboration with satan please. (May God help us all here!) "The point is: DON'T FOLLOW BLINDLY." Yes this I agree. We don't follow a person (or a revival ministry ) who is in leadership of the ministry, unless that person is following the Lord in the first place. Do revival seekers have to be always so blinded or so dumb as to be tricked by Satan's ploy? Can they not be 'sick of the status quo' in church and are looking for the reality of what's is really of God as is shown us in the Holy Word of God, and not just past historical church movements or doctrines only? Can remaining in stagnant relationship in our walk with the Lord and in spiritual ministry in the missions fields be not of the devil's ploy too?
" When God and His messengers heal or do miracles, they will be complete, full and will have enough proof. If you see, Jesus and the desciples always did His miracles/healings in public and verified." Perhaps you haven't seen a real healing taken place and are asking for proofs. Frank has already mentioned some. What's wrong with those examples?
"I believe that the End Time apostasy has already begun, and right now there are true believers mixed with false ones, anti-christs and false prophets. We must be wise to discern the times and spirits and to distance ourselves from those of the evil one. Because the Anti-Christ has emerged himself to look like a worker of Christ as does His false prophets, we will not see with our naked eye, we need to see with our discernment and spiritual eyes. We need to check the works and what kind of people they produce." The apostasy has started way back in the dead church of yesteryears. How many reformations and revivals have since taken place from Luther's time? Of course the church is not perfect and God is judging His church before His return. That's why a lot of ministries are going through the fire right now. Those who fail to see what is of God will miss the real revival and be part of the apostate church. Those who do not trust God enough to purge His own church also will miss it if they attribute to the devil what is of God. I'm not saying there is not a single error in doctrine or practics in the contemporay church. There is still a lot of growing up and repenting needed in the church. But meanwhile let's get this very important issue straight. What is of God cannot be lightly attributed to be of the devil. Else everything that God wants will not take place in our time because we keep rejecting the Holy Spirit and tell Him what He can or cannot do, by our finite minds of inquiry. God is being judged by mere men instead.
"Satan can have the power to loose someone who was under His bondage of some kind of sickness, to make it look like a healing for that person, isn't it ???" Have you been to the healing meetings in the first place? Have you been baptised in the Holy Spirit yourself? Are you able to discern what is of the Holy Spirit and what is of the Devil? The reason why i ask all these questions to you is not to make you angry but it is the beginning of how then the doctrine of Divine Healing and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit can be fully discussed. You may say, i'm avoiding the issue. My reply is what is of the Holy Spirit cannot be pinpointed down in just words and description. Whether one attribute the healing to God depends on WHO the person is asking the healing from. How can we say that the devil heal the person when we who are christians have prayed, fasted or interceded??? If the person get worse we can easily say its the will of God. Why then the contradiction? When healing takes place we say it is of the Devil? May you seek the Lord for more of His truth about healings.
