“ I know I have the Holy Spirit in me. It is an assurance I have that no man nor any created thing can take away. Just because Christians have prayed, do you mean to say that Satan cannot work ? What about Job's case.? Didn't He pray to God ? He did. But until the sickness caused by Satan was removed by God, Job suffered. Do you mean to say just because Christians fasted and prayed for a sick person God has to heal ? No He doesn't have to. He can. He doesn't HAVE TO. I don't see the contradiction.”
Pardon my saying this. Please don’t take this personal. It is very amazing to find christians saying that they are very sure they have The Holy Spirit in them. Can you then explain why they disagree with what the scriptures says are the Works of the Holy Spirit? Why are they not sure what is of Him by the inner witness in them? Can’t they tell the difference? Why even when checking with The Bible and the works of healing and deliverances are happening, they say, maybe it’s counterfeit. BEWARE !!! of the false prophets and false teachers also applies to those who deny the evidences of today’s gifts of the Holy Spirit. Concerning Job’s sickness, we know from the Bible God is being challenged twice by satan concerning Job’s uprightness and integrity ( Job 1:8). It has nothing with allowing Job to suffer to help him become a better person by being sick, which most who doubt God’s goodness claim sickness is good for us rather than good health. But read the end of the book of Job. Did God heal him later? God DID HEAL Job my friend and had his wealth and health restored and lived to a full ripe old age. See the contradiction again? “How can you say that everyone who finds relief/healing has had it from God. Does God heal everyone ? “ There are of course cases whereby healing do not take place even though the patient/healer had the faith, everything is right between the patient and God (not living in sin, no unforgiveness, not walking in rebellion towards the revealed will of God in his/her life etc). That will be when the time has come for the person to return home to heaven. Some may be just given a short span of life on earth not all have to live to 120 yrs like Moses who started serving God only at the age of 80.
