Are saying there is no need to attend church?

++I'm saying that there's no such thing in the NT understanding of the church. Neither do you find such language used in the Bible. The word church is from the word kirche which means "pertaining to the Lord" or "house of God". It is technically a wrong translation into English of the word Ekklesia. Some Bibles translate it as congregation or assembly which is more closer to the Greek word. It has been said by some that if we replace the word church with assembly, the NT will suddenly take on a new sense of meaning in many places.

So it is right in that there is no need to attend church. Why? Because such a phrase is theologically wrong! Church is not a place to go to. It is not a building with a sign board that says XYZ church. So how? Well go back to the Bible! It says clearly that the church assembles together, where? We find them gathering naturally and primary in homes. Is the home the church? NO! It is the church that meets in XYZ's house. The Bible talks a lot about the gathering and the meeting of the saints. That's what we NEED to do. Why? For mutual edification and building up of the Body of Christ. So it is that the church comes together, and not we go to church. Get the message? Sad to say, when we no longer use NT language and understanding, we end up with things that we cannot find biblical support.

Celling meeting is enough? I don't know catch what are you saying. Sorry.

++Obviously you are differentiating between a cell meeting and a "church" meeting on Sunday. Is that biblical? Do you think Jesus practice such a differentiation? Let me ask you back. What denotes the church in the NT? (FYI, the NT church was NOT a cell church in any sense of the word it is used today). In any sense, if you want to understand church life, read Acts and the epistles. It will tell you a lot about what is church life. And what do you mean by enough? Let me tell you, even if you "attend church" every Sunday (plus a cell meeting) for 100 years it is still not enough, Why? Because who can ever experience enough the depths of Jesus Christ? The church gathered is not to meet Christ, but to be a visible expression of Christ, to experience the breadth and depth of the life of Christ that is in every believer as each member supplies to the Body.
